Purpose

Tuning devices provide the necessary blocking frequency bands for organizing high-frequency communication channels over high-voltage lines.

The maximum RF power dissipation is 40 W, regardless of the inductance and rated current of the reactor. At the request of the customer, devices with a power dissipation of 60W can be manufactured.

Design

The tuning device of the UNU series is made in a molded case made of fiberglass (without the use of phenol-formaldehyde resins), which ensures high mechanical strength with low weight, resistance to climatic factors in accordance with GOST 15150 - U1, high electrical strength, resistance to ultraviolet radiation, as well as no heating caused by the magnetic induction of the reactor. The body has light blue to effectively reflect solar radiation. Non-magnetic stainless steel hardware is used in the UNU case. The device does not contain ferromagnetic parts; non-inductive capacitors and resistors are used in the manufacture with an operating voltage of 6 kV to 40 kV with resistance to lightning impulses up to 110 kV.

The case consists of two parts - the base and the cover, connected by six bolts. A rubber gasket is laid between them to ensure dust and moisture protection of the product. A volute type ventilation device is installed at the bottom of the device for efficient condensate removal. Degree of protection IP54. The bushing has an increased creepage distance both outside and inside the housing. The insulation of all circuits relative to the housing withstands a DC voltage of 10 kV. UNU contains in its composition an air discharger to protect circuit elements from shock surges.

Installation of adjustment devices is carried out to the lower cross of the ULZ or the minelayer using brackets. At the request of the customer, other installation options for the UNU are possible (under the upper cross, above the upper cross, etc.).

The tuning device of the UNU series is manufactured in the climatic version "U" of category 1 according to GOST 15543-70 on the basis of domestic and imported components. Designed for outdoor operation at an altitude of not more than 1000 m above sea level at a temperature of -50°C to +45°C (223 - 318 K) and a relative humidity of 98 - 100% (at a temperature of +25°C (298 K )).

Tuning devices of the UNU series can be manufactured with other blocking frequency bands within the declared range of 24-1000 kHz upon agreement with the customer.

The adjustment devices produced in-house are available in 3 sizes:

330 × 330 × 150 (weighing up to 8 kg).
450 × 330 × 350 (weighing up to 10 kg.);
520 × 330 × 370 (weighing up to 13 kg.);

A warranty period is set for the UNU series tuning device - 1 year from the date of putting the device into operation, but not more than 1.5 years from the date of shipment.

By individual agreement with the customer, the warranty period can be changed.

When ordering a UNU tuning device, it is necessary to specify the operating frequency range, inductance, operating current and type of protective device.
