General information
The frequency-separating CHR device is designed to increase frequency selectivity in the case of using one HF channel over an overhead line to organize the parallel operation of several HF communication, protection, and emergency automation devices in various combinations.
In the stop band, the CDM provides a high input impedance for the operating frequency band of the parallel equipment, thus
thereby significantly reducing the possible shunting as a result of damage to the equipment connected to the output of the PCR, or erroneous actions of the operating personnel.
The product, depending on the frequency version, is:
- notch filter (version UCHR-RF) - provides a symmetrical cut-off band of at least 4 kHz in the frequency range of 36-600 kHz (with a step of 1 kHz);
- band-pass filter (version UCHR-PF) - provides a bandwidth of at least 4 kHz in the frequency range from 36 to 600 kHz (with a step of 1 kHz);
- low-pass filter (version CHR-D) - provides a bandwidth at frequencies below the cutoff frequency Fav in the range from 36 to 600 kHz;
- high-pass filter (version CHR-K) - provides a bandwidth at frequencies above the cutoff frequency Fav in the range from 36 to 600 kHz;
Filters of ULS-D and UCHR-K versions, connected to one communication channel, can be combined in one housing with ULS or FP products.
The product has two climatic modifications:
- external - U1 (minus 50 - plus 45 ° С);
- internal - UHL 4.2 (plus 1 - plus 40 ° С).

Main technical characteristics
Product tuning frequency range: 36-600kHz. On request, a filter can be made for other frequencies that do not fall into the specified range and with other pass / block bands.
The nominal input and output impedance of the RF path and connected equipment in the passband is 75 ohms.
The attenuation introduced into the RF channel of parallel equipment with a shorted output (insertion loss) does not exceed:
- 0.9 dB for the performance of the PDM (notch filter circuit);
- 1.0 dB for UCHR-PF, UCHR-D, UCHR-K versions.
The operating attenuation of a filter loaded with a resistance of 75 ohms does not exceed:
- 0.9 dB for the performance of the PDM (notch filter circuit);
- 1.3 dB for UCHR-PF, UCHR-D, UCHR-K versions.
The mass of the CHR for all versions does not exceed 2.5 kg.
